We would like to thank everyone who joined us at the recent 2022 WRL Annual General Meeting.

WRL would like to congratulate the successful candidates in the Southern Zone election: Fedele Camarda (re-elected), and new board members Peter Stanich and Mat Thompson. We would also like to take this opportunity to once again thank retiring board members Roger King and Brad Arnup, as well as independent board member Sophie Raven for their dedication and service to WRL and the industry.

As well as the formal AGM proceedings, the morning’s program featured an industry forum for a discussion about important issues relevant to the fishery including ministerial approvals (TACC, fee repayments), new amendments to the Management Plan and exemptions (including changes to the BoB system and escape gaps), ARMA Working Group update, Digital Strategy and an update on recent events through our Communications & Marketing program (including the DECK program and Royal Show exhibit).
