Additionally, the program features a social dinner, providing a relaxed setting for participants to connect and share ideas with peers, Board members, industry experts and guest speakers. Nothing! The DECK Program is open and available to anyone in the Western rock lobster industry at NO COST.
Financial assistance is available for travel and accommodation to ensure accessibility for all participants.

The DECK Program is open to all WRL members, skippers, deckhands, and commercial fishers.
It is designed for anyone interested in developing their expertise in resource management and small business operations specific to the Western rock lobster industry.
What to Expect at the DECK Program?
The forums are held over two days, with a social dinner arranged between the sessions for participants, guest speakers, WRL Board Members, and senior DPIRD executives. It’s an excellent chance to to network with colleagues and industry leaders.
This year’s DECK will take place from midday on Tuesday 15th October, to midday on Wednesday 16th October in Geraldton.
