Western Rock Lobster wishes everyone associated with our wonderful industry a Happy New Year! We hope that 2026 is a year full of achievement, success and prosperity.

Our changing operating environment, from fishing through governance to markets, continues to be complex and difficult. The value of a strong peak body that is committed and capable of representing the best interests of its industry has never been more evident than now.

This year, WRL will remain focused on supporting our members through effective communication and engagement, best practice governance, beneficial investment in research and innovation, and strong advocacy that supports industry to mitigate risks and create opportunities. Ensuring the ongoing sustainability of the resource and economic strength of the fishery will guide everything we do.
