Back of Boat lobsters exemption for fishers

Allows for a fisher to land up to a maximum of 999 back of boat lobsters in respect of a trip. It also allows for a fisher to consign up to 50 back of boat lobsters per landing to a registered receiver.
Back of Boat lobsters exemption for registered receivers

Allows registered receiver to receive up to 50 back of boat lobsters per landing taken under the authority of a West Coast Rock Lobster Managed Fishery Licence (MFL), without completing the reporting requirements of a registered receiver.
New season pot usage exemption

Allows operators awaiting applications for the transfer of entitlement to be processed to fish with up to the number of pots in which they have submitted transfer applications, to a maximum of 150 pots from 1 July to 1 August 2023.
